A free verse poem is this tome,
There is no rhyming in it.
Oh wait, shit.

For YouIn your time of need,
We will make you succeed.

Let your tears fall,
We will hear your call.

In your time of mourning,
We will stop your scorning.

Don't hold yourself up,
We are your pillars,
Your limbs,
Mind.

We are here for you.

Isolation Isolation

If I were the sky,
You'd be the moon on high
How I wish I could reach you
Rather than stand at a distance changing hue
Somehow I know it cannot be
No,because we are not free
But my dearest moon, it must be very lonely
For you the world to oversee
To see the broken sky that I am
To look upon me glittering with glam
But this I know of the sadness in my heart
That while we're together, we're far apart.

All I Need~~ All I Need~~

Big, strong arms,
protectively wrap around
my small thin waist,
holding me together

Warm, sweet breathe
flows down my neck
and tickles my hair
as it sweeps over my body

Brilliant azure eyes,
like a dazzling sea,
stare straight through me
and down to my soul

Soft pink lips
lightly kiss the tip of my nose
and cause me to
melt in his arms

One gentle voice
rings out above all others
and whispers three little words
'I love you'

This is all that I need

Eyes sparkling.Walking up the drive
I could hear music playing.
Our music, I smiled.

knocking on the door
I heard her yell out to me,
'Just a minute, please.'

The music softened
She opened the door smiling,
Ready to greet whoever.

'Hi' she said breathless.
'Hey, how's it going.' I asked.
'Still living.' she replied.

I walked in laughing
Her eyes sparkled like the ocean,
Only the colour of brown.

Her hair soft as snow
Mixed colours of brown and blonde,
Cascading down her.

She is beautiful
And shes lighting up the world,
One smile at a time.

RelinquishOnce I loved you.

I would watch as you softly trailed your fingers over my form,
Swearing your undying love, you would promise to be gentle.
I lay as you washed over me, a tender hand stroking my skin.
'Don't let this change' I heard you whisper, the plea caressing,
Wanting, begging me not to see how
This had changed
We had changed.

Now you are a stranger

I rememberI remember
           when this
                     room didn't
                            smell like perfume.

And I remember
               When there

Wicked ponders -stage 1-Take me home with you, -and make a mess of me-
This Want to Live under your bed; Restless,
the spirit beneath your feet, and punched-out pillows -

Restless, in dire need; I Want..
to watch you Squirm,
and Move mountains in your mind..Restless;

and be that 'someone'- in the dark, Hiding my wickedness..

just this 'someone' who has you fighting
sleep
and moaning of crawls,
between those empty spaces in your floorboards..

Restless;
as I enter your mouth in a hush
that speaks of bluebells,
and pearls,
and cockleshells..

all those things I used to dream.

when I was Restless, and you were Wicked.

NUNShe's not into the bad habit
of clipping wings; she neatly stitches,
so that One may fly

My thighs were once my canvasMy thighs were once my canvas,
cream colored and stretched
like the top of a drum.
Ready. My paint brush
was a switch blade. The strokes
are now faint, diluted
like cracks in frosted glass –
painted roads that twist
like vines.

Light and DarkLight and Dark

When the sun shines
Ecstasy pales in its face
A warm glow envelops the world
All is right in its rays

When the sun shines
The vampires retreat
To their caves and corruption
With only rats to eat

When the sun shines
The moon glows, the winds ebb and flow
From the stillness springs life
Once trapped down below

When darkness falls
Life returns to its dens
Storing newfound light
Waiting for the sun to shine again

When darkness falls
The underworld awakes
Sinful and petulant
Silent slithering snakes

When darkness falls
The demons come out
With a curtain of sorrow
Black hearts filled with doubt

In Need of a Friend~~In Need of a Friend~~

Guess what?
I cried today
And no one saw me
Just like yesterday

My heart hurt today
Though I didn't tell anyone
Because they wouldn't really care
To them I'm just scum

I tried once before
To tell all of my friends
Of the things that scarred me
But they didn't have a helping hand to lend

So I locked up all of these emotions
Into a deep dark abyss
And I though I thought I wouldn't care
Those feelings, I now miss

I put on my best smile
And try my best not to cry
But now I know it's pointless
As I take a look up at the sky

I've tried my best to do what I can
I tried my best to make amends
But the wor

The Wool to the LaceUnroll me,
smooth and gentle-like.
Gentle like wool.

Darlin',
you can rock
back and forth to me -
I whisper between your fingers,
soft 'til I've been gathered up by rough wooden sticks
and made whole again -
a sweet tangle of colored thistles,
clinging to your ankles.

I can be rubbed and crushed
safely between palms,
but I barely dare to take you in my hands,
my spider-lace.

You are twisted silk, dear,
sighing Victoria wallpaper,
finger-tip tender.

Twirl, lover.
Let me feel your threads
flick their kisses against my cheeks.
You are the prettiest thing I've ever seen.

We nod our heads together,
long hair and silk skirts

Loophole in My DreamingI wrap myself in proof
And I could wait here for you.
Frore memories,
Rest on quilts of snow
Stitched together with grave lines
Of tombstones.

Wishing prayers were what life was about.

What I am made ofWithout my cyclops vision
Perverse dreams
And poetic flirtations

Or
Periodic stumbles,
Disintegrations,
Transparent confabulations,
Murky revelations,
And
Clairvoyant obfuscations,

I would, I fear
Only be
A boring mixture of
Mechanical inhalations.

Creator From An Empty World

I am the Creator from an Empty world.
I see a picture forming behind shut eyes,
I feel my hands open wide,
I know Imagination is the way to bring happiness.

I am the Creator from an Empty world.
I take lines and make them be connective,
I take one dimension and give it perspective,
I take greyscale and give it my colour.

I am the Creator from an Empty world.
I hear it compose itself around me, the symphony,
I listen to the now-polished cacophony,
I smile as I continue to orchestrate.

I am the Creator from an Empty world.
I feel the world take the talent I lent
I watch it develop and I feel content
I am ecstatic to see it growing.

I am the Creator from an Empty world.
I planted the seed, that was simply all
I gave the plant enough to grow tall
I wished to Inspire.

I wish to see something more unfurled.

An "I Am" assignment for my English class.

(Except it's now over, so the only writing you'll be seeing from me is whatever I come up with in my very minimal scrap of free time...)

Re-read it and realized it sounds a LOT like *iMAGNi's Engelbaum character, Imagni. Thought it was worth sharing.

((Critique-wise... I feel like the word choice here could use a little tweaking. Particularly what bothers me is stanza 5, lines 2 & 3, as well as line 4 of stanza 1. Also, does the ending sound all right? I originally had the lines reversed.))
